Aldus Press is named in honour of the great Venetian printer Aldus Manutius whose innovations greatly advanced the dissemination of knowledge. Now his tradition has been revived and rejuvenated.
OPEN ACCESS
Research has shown that publishing Open Access ensures the highest impact for your academic work. Aldus Press wholeheartedly endorses this model and all our monographs are published under the CC-ND-NC license.
We have looked critically at the end-to end book production process and adapted it fully to open access, using the latest technologies and workflows. As a result, our book processing charge (BCP) is just 5,000 euro. We aim to publish your work within three months.
OPEN PEER REVIEW
Aldus Press has developed an open peer review model that we believe is the most transparent and effective way to allow readers to validate the quality and relevance of books, which is the primary goal of peer review.
Before publication, authors solicit endorsing reviews for their works from peers in their field before publication. Aldus validates the identities of these reviewers. The names and affiliations of these reviewers (including their ORCID IDs) and the reviews are published in the book and are included in the books metadata.
Building on the reputation of these peers, readers will be able to assess the quality and relevance of the work.
