Bas has 25 years of experience working across multiple publishing sectors. After many years leading Elsevier’s regional office for Germany, Austria and Switzerland he founded several companies including Magknowlia, Konvertus and now Aldus Press. He has always strived to ensure publishing provides the best possible service to scholars everywhere and has always publicly championed the open access model from its first theoretical inception.

Lyndsey Dixon is a dynamic journal publishing expert with two decades of experience driving the growth, sustainability, and impact of academic journals in an ever-evolving open-access world. With a career spanning roles at Elsevier, Taylor & Francis, and De Gruyter Brill, she has a proven track record of developing high-impact journals and pioneering innovative publishing strategies. Based in Hong Kong, Lyndsey is deeply connected across the Asia Pacific region, leveraging her extensive network to expand the global reach of research and researchers.
