Our article processing charges follow a two-tiered system, with fees structured as outlined below.

Corresponding authors based in Group A or Group B countries on the Research4Life eligibility list (see list) – or Corresponding Authors whose research is funded by organisations in these countries – are eligible to apply for a 100% waiver of article processing fees.

To request this waiver, Corresponding authors must:

• Indicate their eligibility at the time of article submission.
• Provide the journal editor with details of their institutional affiliation or funding source, including any funding body policies that require open-access publication.

Please note:

• Fee waivers cannot be combined with other discounts.
• Waivers must be requested at submission—they cannot be applied after the manuscript has been accepted and an invoice has been issued.
